The German-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry has been founded in 1955. It was due to the Chamber's initiative that the EFACI has been created in 1977 in order to provide the market with young qualified and bilingual personnel. The EFACI has ever since remained under the patronage of the Chamber. At present, two of our apprentices spend their practical training periods at the CFACI. |
 |
The Chamber of Industry and Commerce of Aachen organises and validates the exams Industriekaufmann and Zertifikat (IHK). Since 1998, the Chamber of Aachen and the EFACI collaborate according to the agreement "Ausbildungskonsens NRW" which facilitates the access to our apprenticeship for young Germans. Until recently, this agreement applied to youngsters from North Rhine-Westphalia only, but thanks to the IHK Aachen the program has been extended to a national level. |
